This cult scene of making a offering to a seated deity god or king, priest or governer. Tablet, British Museum. Early Dynastic lll about 2500 BCE from UR.
The top image of a young naked male pouring out libation to a figure with a rolled brimmed hat. The bottom scene shows standing in the midddle looking towards the viewer is probably the goddess Inana clasping her hand in a devotional pose and a older naked priest figure pouring out liquid libation on top of an alter with animal ankle straps to sacrifice the kid since its blood is pure energy with symbolic meaning of realeasing the stream life of the animal. The alter is next to what looks like an encloser building or early priest temple which also looks like geometric building decor on artifacts from the Jiroft civilization ( southern east Iran) which is older then sumerian civilization. The figure above holds a drinking vessel.
